Riverside Cricket Club, a dream turned reality that started with a simple love for cricket. Since the mid-90s, our group of friends spent countless afternoons playing casual cricket on the driveway of a member’s house in Baridhara, Dhaka. Among us were brothers, bound not only by friendship but by a shared vision: to one day have our own cricket ground and establish a club where cricket could be enjoyed by friends, family, and the broader community.

After years of dreaming and planning, our vision took shape in 2020, when the idea of creating a cricket ground became a workable plan. What began as driveway games has grown into something extraordinary—a space where passion for the game meets community spirit.

Established with dedication and heart, Riverside C.C. is more than just a club; it’s a community. Our mission is to promote cricket in Bangladesh and foster a love for the sport while preserving the cherished traditions of the game. We take pride in being the first cricket club of its kind in the country, combining a family-friendly atmosphere with a commitment to nurturing talent.

Our grounds are designed to be a sanctuary for cricket lovers of all ages, where friends and family can come together to celebrate the game. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting, we welcome everyone to be part of this incredible journey.

Our facilities are designed not just for local players but to host teams from across the globe. We invite both local and foreign cricket teams to come, stay at our club, play cricket, and exchange the joy of the game. Our clubhouse offers comfortable accommodations for touring teams and features state-of-the-art facilities, including player lounges, modern changing facilities, a fully equipped gym, and recreational games. To complete the experience, we serve delicious meals made from fresh, local ingredients—offering a taste of Bangladesh with every bite.

Looking to the future, our ambitions extend beyond the boundaries of our cricket ground. Plans are underway to launch a cricket academy dedicated to discovering and developing the next cricketing star of Bangladesh. We aim to create a space where young talent can flourish, inspired by the same passion and camaraderie that built this club.
